The Six Nations Cannabis Commission (SNCC) is currently accepting applications for cannabis Production/Manufacturing and Retail licenses from Six Nations registered band members. Only qualifying businesses that meet the requirements set by the SNCC can obtain a license.

Cannabis licenses issued by the SNCC are valid for one year. After this period, businesses must apply for renewal to continue operating legally. For assistance with the renewal process, applicants can contact info@sncannabis.com or visit the SNCC office.

The Six Nations Cannabis Control Law (SNCCL) was enacted in 2019 to regulate the cannabis industry on Six Nations Territory. It aligns with federal and provincial laws, such as the Cannabis Act (Canada), Cannabis License Act (Ontario), and Cannabis Control Act (Ontario), while prioritizing the health, safety, and economic interests of Six Nations. Regulations governing licensing, compliance, enforcement, and product standards were approved on May 3, 2021 and continue to be reviewed.
